The Committee on Political Subdivisions moves to amend the bill on page one, by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:
House Bill 2771 -- A BILL to amend and reenact § 21-1D-2, §21- 1D-4 and §21-1D-8 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended; and to amend said code by adding thereto two new sections, designated §21-1D-5a and §21-1D-7b, all relating to West Virginia Alcohol and Drug-Free Workplace Act; providing definitions; requiring the submission of a sworn statement regarding a drug-free workplace; providing that workers who comply with that United States Department of Transportation drug testing guidelines are not required to submit to additional tests; requiring a report to public authority who let the contract; and providing criminal penalties."
